On the 10th of July, Friction performed at WestWaarts Festival in the Erasmuspark in Amsterdam. With the sun shining, a rocking band, backing vocals and dancers, plus a super enthousiastic crowd it was another show to remember! Taste the atmosphere via the pictures, via this link:
On the 24th of June Friction performed with his band and dancers at the Zeeheldenfestival in The Hague, where over 3000 people enjoyed his show.
A day later, Friction performed at Festival Uprising, and despite of the rain Friction pulled all the people towards the stage and let his music take them to a tropical, sunny place.

Friction in X Factor Holland
For his first audition in the Heineken Music Hall, Friction performed 'I've never seen' of Xavier Naidoo ft. RZA. He impressed the judges, the crowd ánd the viewers at home with his voice and stage-act. Check it out here! Unfortunately, Friction did not get through the bootcamp-round, but he loved to join and experience X Factor.
Sun. the 15th of May:Friction with live band @ KiKa Benefiet Festival
Location: Hotel Arena, Amsterdam, Holland

Together with his band, Friction will perform to support the 'KiKa Fonds', a fund that is helping children who are diagnosed with cancer. The festival promises to be a great one, because besides Friction also other Dutch stars are performing, such as Alain Clark, Postman and Sabrina Starke are performing!

# Friction rocked the stage of Kwakoe 2010!
As you might have read or heard, Friction performed at the Kwakoe Festival in Amsterdam sunday the 8th of August. As one of the final acts of the festival, Friction put on a fantastic show, bringing African, reggae as well as hiphop vibes to the crowd! With his band backing him up, a beautiful dancer and guest performances of DJ Blackfoot and Walid, Friction once again showed his musical talent and his talent to entertain.

# Friction on National Dutch Television in 'De Wereld Draait Door voor Haiti'
Thursday the 21th of January Friction was guest in an episode of the well-known television programm 'De Wereld Draait door'. This special episode was set up to collect money for Haiti.

In an episode of the African newsprogramm Muzica, a possible reunion of Friction and his old group V.I.P. was suggested. Is this true? Well, there are no plans made for this yet, but Friction’s love for music might let him work together again with the guys he started his musiccareer with.

# Friction's new single 'Mijn Alles' officially released the 1st of January 2010
Already the single ‘Mijn Alles’ and its videoclip were to be listened and seen on the internet, but on the 1st of January 2010 the real release happens. This means you should be ready to hear the single on your favorite radiostation and to see the video on TMF and MTV!
In the middle of January, the single will be downloadable at iTunes, Radio 538 Downloads and more downloadportals.
A complete list of all the downloadportals where the single will be downloadable will be put on this website in the middle of January.
# September 2009: Friction rocked the stage in Ghana!
After Friction finished all his planned shows in Holland this summer, he went back to Ghana in september 2009. Not only to shoot the video of his upcoming single, but also to perform during the Sallah festival (which is the celebration at the end of the Ramadan). Friction performed on three different stages; in Nima, Kasoa and in the National Theatre of Ghana. You weren't there? Too bad, because Friction rocked the stages! And the crowd went crazy, as it was such a long time since they see their idol perform in his own hometown.
